Want to know more about this parador

In Cidacos Valley, on the banks of the Ebro River, stands the Parador de Calahorra, also known as the Parador de Turismo Marco Fabio Quintiliano, an elegant reddish building that contrasts with the deep green of the garden of palm trees that surrounds it. The comfortable guest rooms, beautiful décor and warmth of the fireplace in the function rooms make this a perfect place to share with the family. We recommend the Route of the Dinosaurs, especially if you have children! The dinosaurs left behind their amazing tracks at more than 40 sites distributed throughout the Calahorra region, in nearby towns such as Enciso and Igea. The Parador is an ideal place to stay for those who want to discover every detail of the wonderful world of dinosaurs.

Calahorra is also a wine-producing region. Not much more than fifteen minutes from the hotel, you can visit the first Rioja Baja Wine Museum, located in Nuestra Señora del Portal Chapel in Aldeanueva del Ebro, or tour fantastic wineries where they make exquisite Riojas.

The historic town center is well worth a visit. You can take a walk through town and marvel at the cathedral; the Muslim old quarter and the Roman arch; San Andrés Church; Raso Square, once the Roman forum; the municipal museum, which houses the famous bust known as Dama Calagurritana; and the Carmelite convent that is home to an amazing Christ by baroque sculptor Gregorio Fernández.
